The Winakwa Alumni Soccer Club (WASC) was formed in the spring of 2007. While having a couple of "Pops" Gord floated the idea to Chris about starting an Alumni Soccer Club. After burning up the phone lines recruiting and bringing old veterans out of retirement our team was born. With the likes of the O'bray and Berthon Clans, Uno, Scrapper, Byron (Red Devil) Prendergast, Steve, Keith, Ross, Cam, Jeff, Angus and Eamonn we were ready to roll. We are now approaching our 4th season.  We have added such stellar players as Andy, Curtis, Monica, Whitney, Casey, Jessie and Jacques -  players trying to revive their once illustrious careers and coming home to play for Winakwa.
